First introduced in 1974, Foot Locker has now grown into the most well known sports retailers that specialize in sneakers, athletic gear, and sporting equipment. Now with over 2,000 stores, Foot Locker is not only known in the United States but all over the world. They specialize in their core customer which is the 12 to the 20 year old, but they offer items for people of all ages. Their clothes and sneakers are affordable yet live up to the style that young men and women look for. They are one of the top sellers of Michael Jordan gear such as sneakers and Jordan clothing, but they have all the other names as well such as Nike, Adidas, and K-Swiss. From high tops to slides, they really have it all including accessories such as watches, sunglasses, duffle bags, and even electronics. Although it may have started just as a place to buy shoes, Foot Locker has turned into so much more with their trendy styles and unique items that the kids and the adults love.
Hands down this is the best store for sneakers. I have bought my last 3 pairs there. Considering the amount of running I do I need to replace my sneakers about every 4 to 6 months and have been very pleased with the selection that they have as well as the prices. All three of my pairs have been bought on clearance but they were exactly what I needed for long distance running. They are very stylish but each sneaker works exactly the way that I need it to. I think in total I never paid more than $50 for each pair which is well below what you find in running stores. It is a great store and I’ll definitely be back!
